Dysart Developments Ltd are a locally based developer who are active in Northumberland and the North East. Dysart have a wealth of experience in delivering large-scale mixed-use proposals; they are committed to undertaking development that is sustainable, fosters vibrant communities, and creates a strong sense of place. Examples include the regeneration of the former Consett Steelworks site through Project Genesis. Dysart are also overseeing Airview Park, a strategically significant business park development adjacent to Newcastle Airport, which includes some 175,000ft2 of offices with exceptional national and international transport connections in a parkland setting. Dysart are working with end users to deliver the Local Centre uses, including nursery, retail and Extra Care provision.

Founded in 2013, Amethyst Homes is a local SME housebuilder with strong values of commitment, trust and quality. Their vision is to create a business around customers, providing a high quality product built in sustainable environments. They are based around family values, and their mission is to not only produce high quality homes, but to also produce great environments to live in. This is achieved through careful planning and design, having a broad range of house sizes and styles, all with the aim of delivering the best possible home in the best possible environment. As a sister company of Dysart, Amethyst Homes has enjoyed a close working relationships with the Dysart team not only on this site, but also on previous projects, and together have achieved their ambition for high quality housing in high quality surroundings. Their developments include the national award winning housing development at Regents Park in Consett, as well as developments in south East Northumberland, Newcastle and Stillington.

Story Homes is a family-owned business that was founded in 1987. Story have a longstanding reputation of building high quality, high specification homes. Within the North East, Story Homes have a number of active sites including Riverbrook Gardens in Alnwick, and a recently approved redevelopment of the Marley Tiles factory site. They were named ‘Housebuilder of the Year’ at the North East Insider Property Awards 2026, recognising the businesses commitment to delivering high-quality homes and creating thriving communities across the North East. Story Homes’ success is underpinned by a determination to understand the needs of the communities where they build, and a goal to deliver high quality and high specification homes that enhance the local area. Their ethos aligns perfectly with both the aims of the Dysart team for Middle Farm and the aspirations of Amethyst Homes.

After completion of the Middle Farm site, a management company will be arranged by all three developers to maintain landscaping, community and public facilities, infrastructure, footpaths and cycleways. Middle Farm will combine the expertise, passion, and experience of these three developers to deliver a sustainable, high quality, deliverable development.
