Health Impacts

As part of the application we need to prepare a Health Impact Assessment, which looks to assess how a proposed scheme may affect the health and wellbeing of a population. It looks at potential health impacts, both positive and negative and measures to mitigate adverse impacts and maximise benefits. The two questions below reflect this and we ask for your thoughts on the importance of different health elements that need to be factored into the scheme’s design.

What Happens Next?

Once the planning application has been submitted later this year, Northumberland County Council will undertake formal consultation on the proposals which allow a further opportunity for comments to be made.

Once validated, the application will be available to view on Northumberland County Council’s web

page: https://www.northumberland.gov.uk/Planning/Planning-and-building.aspx

 

All thoughts and suggestions received as part of this consultation will be carefully considered before

a planning application is submitted to Northumberland County Council and will be reported in a

Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). The content of your responses (excluding any personal

details) will be shared in the SCI.
